didn't intentionally HDR it, just trying to make it pop a little. It was very flat and the couple with the child was very dark. The sky was blown out (sorry, I was thinking of another pic that I was going to edit where the sky was blown out, I was going to drop this sky behind them) so I just layered it and dropped a gradient.

hmm... maybe I could back off some of the hdr feel a bit... I'll keep playing with it...

Anyway, processed (maybe a little too much) in PS Gotta be honest, and not trying to be mean...but I think this about most all of your pics.
My nightlife pics I intentionally process them a certain way, as well as the fitness ones that I do. Other event shots I try to just push a few levels without over doing them. I don't want to fall into a rut of processing everything the same way, so if I do, let me know if it's overcooked.

I thought the train theme had to do more with moms.
I thought it had to do with the whole 'wrong side of the tracks' thing but the funny was both sides of this track are garb, and right smack dab in the middle is this family standing tall amongst it...
It's a cool picture for the kid to remember. Hell I still love trains /never going to grow up.

To me, it makes everything feel smoggy...
I think a little less of it would work and let some blues come through to not feel so smog-like, but as it sits, it reminds me of a not-so-windy day in LA...
