Another cool one from that series, the Heritage Flight. An F-22 and a P-51 flying in formation. The F-22 was flying at less than 1/5th it's top speed and the P51 was flying at over 2/3rds it's top speed.

I like how the F22 is basically a giant flying reflector for the underside of the P-51.

worked on a photoshoot last Wednesday with Brooks Laich from the Washington Capitals. The shoot was for the cover of Junes Shy Magazine. He's a pretty cool dude, hung out and spoke with him for a bit. The shoot was on a yacht on the Georgetown waterfront in DC. Day was overcast but sun started to break through, and it was pretty hot. There were also about seven models there posing in the background for the covershot. I was there doing behind the scenes shots and was asked to do some editorial shots that may get published in next months mag as ads for the boutique that provided the models clothing. Pretty cool! Anyway, enough talk, here are some pics:

love me some P51. since ours was rained out i didn't get to see the F22 or the heritage flight fly

well, there's the instagram app you can use to mimic film... but that one is actual real Tri-X 400 film that i shot and scanned

That was the reference. That said, every time I look at that gbh pic, I wish I had shot it with the D700 and not the D300.
