Here too, it's a big deal when they show up but more because they signal the end of summer I think.
Two from last week in Denali. Fall colors are fading fast to the browns and soon to be whites of winter. I wanted to try to emphasize the atmosphere and weather, so I tried a couple different presets in LR6 for editing than I normally do.

I finally made the move to full frame. I bought a Sony A7iii on sale for 200 dollars off at Best Buy. I also bought a Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 at the same time. I then took my A mount Sony A77ii and four lenses to the local camera store. Trading them in got me a hefy discount on a Sony GMaster 100-400 F4.5-5.6 lens. All I need now is something for the wide end, and that should do it for me.

I took this with my 100-400 the day I got it. I can't believe the difference in ISO between the A77ii and the A7iii. I knew it would be better, but wow!

Nice. Full frame mirrorless is high on my things-I'm-going-to-buy-as-soon-as-shit-stops-breaking list. My default is the Nikon Z6 since I'm a fanboi and all, but it seems to fall short of Sony and Panasonic in a number of ways.
