5k last night, 26:02. bumping it up tonight... next few weeks looks like
M - 5k recovery run T - 4.5m run W - 5m run Th - rest F - 5m run S - x-train a bit or just stretch Su - long run (this week = 8, next week = 10, week after = half marathon)
that should get me back to ready for the half on the 14th.
you don't think you will strain your legs/muscles by following that routine. i know by wednesday, you'll be dragging ass and you won't be fully rested

Nah..he has a good running base already. He'll handle that plan no problem. The recovery run on mondays are key to progression.

did my 4.33 miles last night in 36:06, but did my fastest mile last (8:14).
Got my new shoes too!! But I didn't try them last night. If it's dry out tonight I might take them for a couple miles to see how they fit. They're "minimalist" shoes, so I need to get into them gradually.
these dogs - Brooks Green Silence:
They weigh 8oz vs. the 15oz my regular shoes weigh. They feel like fucking slippers too. Love 'em.

no gym for home?
I altered my schedule a bit so I'm doing this now instead (Wednesday nights are tough). Switching Wednesday and Thursday. Tonight it's 5 alive!

10miles to go before hitting 200miles ran and I lose my nike+ sensor
ARGHHHHH
no running until friday when i pick up a new sensor for my shoes oooh that's not a good excuse. can't you manually input your miles?
on mapmyrun i can but not on nikerunning.com
all your miles, pace, etc is logged and recorded by the nike+ apparatus in an effort to stop people from cheating and lying about their distance/time/pace because of all the challenges that nike has

I've done it once or twice.

Obviously, since it only goes by total elapsed time and distance, you don't see variations in pace. But if you just want to get something loaded with miles and average pace, it can be done.

weird that the site doesnt have an end time but it does have a start time It doesn't need your end time since it has the duration. It really just creates a very minimalist log for your run.
minimalist log. that's the kinda poo you have when you're eating a reduced calorie diet.

How does that do holding a signal. We got my wife an older model a while back and it was horrible. But the Garmin Edge I have for my bike has been great for four or five years now.
