SiAdam SiAdam Post Master Supreme Registered: 07/22/01 Posts: 19274 Loc: WV	I bought some adj cam gears and need to trim my valve cover so they are easily adj....(boosted car, dyno session, not looks) Anyway....what is the best way to do so? _________________________ 05 Berlina Black S2000 700whp / 500wtq Built, not bought.

Sichology101 Sichology101 Member Registered: 04/29/03 Posts: 801 Loc: SouthEast	Use a horizontal band saw, there is a slight angle on the side you want removed if you lay it flat as if it were on the cylinder head, it will cut more off the bottom than the top so compensate for this, it doesn't look bad and most people won't notice. Or you can wedge the back side up and make a straight cut. Don't have a saw? Go to a machine shop.

Scored the area I needed to cut, then broke it out with a pair of plyers...wored great....cleaned it up with the little mini sanding accessorie...
