One get some decent shock, koni yellow, Tokico Illumiuns. Any brand that you can adjust the damping of the shock, like the ones i mentioned or the AGXs. Two traction bars are great, i have the full-race strip bars myself, motor mount inserts help and make sure your engine mounts arent torn, a bad motor mount well give you alot of wheel hop also. Finally this is what i am doing, use polyurethane bushings through out your suspension the stock rubber ones just suck and are the weakest link in our cars i think,Energy suspension makes a complete set. And finally again, learn to launch at the right rpm, to high you spin, to low you just bog and in between can cause wheel hop, but a good set of drag radials at least give you the best traction at the strip. Alot of this i think is going to depend on the performance your cars at now. I done just about everything mentioned and have run decent times next year i am getting a set of drag radial cause tire spins killing me. Also read above link mentioned.

... well... i dont know how you fix it completely.or if you can totaly get rid of hop.You have to remember that your driving a front wheel drive. on launch your weight goes to the rear of the car taking traction away. Low profile tires have harder side walls and dont give it as much rebound to take the jolt you give the drivetrain. i mean dont get me wrong. they have exceptional grip. thats why you see guys drive with stock front tires.. because it gives them better launch traction.. this thread dosent help much but if you can take this an use it an find a way to stop wheel hop LET ME KNOW !!! =P

Yeah, motor mounts is probably one of the best ways to cure wheel hop in FWDs.

fatter stickier tires and trac bars woul reduce the hop you get. the best thing i can suggest is a tein coilover with the above mentioned items.
