I can do the shot again. Just need to turn the TV off. It took a few shots trying to get the background blur to frame the image. Very diffuclt with a rebel viewfinder. 
The blue to left is a tv, and there is a 40w bulb across the room directly behind the head. Couch on the bottom right. The nifty fifty is great at destroying backgrounds.

I'm not sure why the women in the background were wearing neck braces. I didn't see them back there until I zoomed in to look at the gorilla.
This is a fairly heavy crop. Not pleased with it, but I'll figure it out. I took several shots with different focal points.

Here's a pigeon that came up to me when I sat down for a moment in the city. I guess it associates cameras with food, because all I had was water.
He seemed to be making it by with one leg.

I always assumed you were shooting the elk in a reserve where they are separated from people / cars. The only time I have seen a park like yours is when I was out west with similar critters.

I always assumed you were shooting the elk in a reserve where they are separated from people / cars. The only time I have seen a park like yours is when I was out west with similar critters.
Imagine Yellowstone without any interesting geologic activity and only 100 acres. The elk and bison are kept separate though because you're not supposed to get out of your vehicle in the bison enclosure. With the elk, you can get as close as your stupidity allows. FWIW, bison fuck up more visitors to Yellowstone than any other animal.
