As long as you do a layer merge, all bets are off so you gotta delete the merged layers, go fix what you want fixed and then merge again.

okay, how about this one? didn't touch orange at all, just reduced the saturation and vibrance. By the way, I am editing on a macbook pro, maybe I should invest in a monitor??? I did calibrate the lcd too...

A friend of mine, who is an actor, needed some new head shots done for his agency.
No makeup...he didn't want to wear any, since the point is to show how you actually look in these, so minor cleanup was done.
