The windows were like 4 inches thick in essence making everything behind look like "double vision" not sure how you could do this shot and not get that effect. 
Polarizer will help.

Fun fact: the flares in this image are from salt spray (from the Bay) on the lense filter, it was very windy that day. It was an accident, but I like them. I do believe I'll add more.  Nate I honestly thought you shot it through a window of a car.

shooting the pits and the grid at a bike race would be fun. the buddy that owns the rsv4 i shot does track days with it frequently, i've got to go out with him sometime.
took a quick trip up to Idyllwild, found another part of a small single track mountain bike trail I stumbled upon last thanksgiving. so beautiful up here, going to have to bring Randy and Cierrecart up here to shoot them on the trail.

there was an observation spot near the house we rented in florida in june. we checked it out one day while on a walk. They had nailed a piece of PVC to a fence post as a guide to look through for the nest, which was like 100 yards away. Didn't see shit!
So my coverage of the Born Free moto show is out now in Iron and Air magazine. Really psyched about this. First time getting published. Really excited to start a relationship with these guys, it was a big goal to get in their magazine. I sent over 500 words and a grip of images that I thought were all pretty good. They chose 8 I think, I sent over high res files, and presto change-o, print copies are on their way. I've got the page of text, a full page image, and two more pages of collage. Plus, the real exciting thing, is that I got a two page spread as the opener to the 44 page special section on events around the world. It doesn't mean anything more than I happened to have grabbed a shot that illustrated the "Open Road" special feature, but it's fuckin' cool man.
So, I'm not sharing images from the mag yet, but here's one of some dirt bags that passed out early on in the day

Anther awesome shot man. You still using the 5d mark 2? Are you bracketing shots? Sometimes i get great dynamic range with mine, but more often than not i fuck up the exposure comp settings. What do you use for landscape stuff, if not bracketing?

I'm not bracketing. The tripod is rarely used. I just take pics at the right time...otherwise I don't even bother anymore. This was just before sun-down, so the sky was not going to be blown out too bad...in fact, the sun was already down below the horizon. I hate blown-out skies.

There are some tutorials online on how to make the milky way pop in post, with a starting image that good, i bet you could really make it nice.
Thanks man... Canon 60D/EF-S 10-22mm.
I've found a few articles on how to do post on Milky Way pics, definitely going to give them a read and see how this cleans up.
