I successfully did the foglight trick to keep fogs on with parking lights only. And my friend with a 95 eclipse wants me to do it to his. I tried today and couldnt locate all the right wires. Do you guys know if this can be done. sorry about the dsm question....just wondering.

thanks,
matt

dont wire it so the fogs are a constant on with your parking lights. rip apart the steering column and find the wire that comes on with the parking lights and hook your fog light switch to it. they design inline fuses on the fog lights for a reason. dont bypass them at all because you dont need a meltdown of your wires.

anyhow, take off the column and expose the wiring harness. i did it so long ago i forgot what color the wire was so you need to cheak using a volt tester. then once you find it you can tap you power supply into your fog light switch. that way it is drawing off the parking lights not the headlights.

to do it to your friends, you gotta use a jumper wire in the fuse box under the hood
do this at your own risk

Fusebox on driverside under hood

Foglight relay on left, fuse on right

Jumper wire with fuse inline, get at autozone 1.99 or somethin

Remove relay, stuff wire into the middle hole

Add blade connection to end of jumper wire and insert it on right side connector (where old fuse went)
