Bro... I am running Redline MTF... and it rules all things to come!!! By far, the smoothest shifts and confidence in every gear!!! My recommendation will forever be Redline... plus it sounds cool to say...
Carlos- "... I have Redline oil!..." Christina Whoreulera- "... oooh! I wanna make hump to you!!!"
... see... it really works!
Redline MTF rules?????? Far from it!! King put that in my transmission once before and it sucked balls. The shifting sucked so much that I changed it out in less then a month because I hated it so much. I Switched to BG at that time and there was a night and day difference over the Redline crap.
I have also talked to many other people that hate Redline MTF and say BG is 100% better. So I’m not the only one out there that thinks this.
If you are using Redline MTF I HIGHLY suggest you switch to BG. If you try it, I know for a fact you will never use Redline MTF again!!!

Well...my experience with it is fantastic... Maybe I have some kind of hybrid transmission that shifts better with Redline... maybe your BG stuff is great... but for now, I'm good with Redline... and Christina is on my balls right now humming to "What a Girl Wants". I won't be swapping it out when it works fine! Imight give your stuff a try when I need to replace the oil... but for now,
P.S. A woman like Christina Whoreulera wouldn't be humming on my balls for all the money in the world, I know this... yet I still have the ability to pretend, just like Mr. BG swearing his sh!t rules!!! A month ago, when I did a search, mostly GM Synchro and Redline were mentioned, including OEM... so I went with what was available here in Boise... Limited Resources, bro!!! The only reason I say these things is because I can... and I kinda feel like bein an a$$hole! Just for fun, though!!!
Use what YOU think is good, I recommend Redline. Then again, I'm just some shmuck who works on diesels all day, and couldn't troubleshoot a burned coil without CSi... so... yeah!!!

GM Synchromesh is gods gift to transmissions from what I experienced. It literally made it feel like it was new again. I'd give it a try and see how you like it.

GM syncromesh is where its at. i had a slight grind developing in my old b16a trans and a switched from honda MTF to GM Syncromesh and the zip went away. its glorious.
Now i run GM syncromesh Friction Modified in my ITR trans, and at 9500 RPM, it is still smooth as butter.

I second the above...I had a slight grind when going into 2nd and 3rd....switched to synchromesh....all is good, and the shifting is always butter smooth. I have noticed that with honda mtf, shifting would get worse as the going got hotter. With GM synchromesh, you can drive the tranny super hard and it always retains the same shifting characteristics.
