A K24-powered EM1 would be a pretty decent setup. But I wonder if the H22 wouldn't be cheaper, at least for the block and supporting equipment, only because it's older?
A B18 would be far easier, for sure. Get the mix-n-match going with pistons and head and you could build up a potent block for a pretty small amount of cash. Throw some decent bumpsticks in it and an ECU, and you'll be knocking on 200HP's door if you've got a good tune.
