This was a bustling forum way back in the day, I met lots of good people here. Buch, Fly, Chris, Matt, Worm, Thom, Ed, Rico, Roger, Alan, Dee, Mike, Otto, Perry, Takeo, Issac, Lee, Dan,... There were so many of us.
We all used to go out and have meets weekly, BBQ's, Super smash bros, GT3, track events, tinker with our cars. Then one year everyone started moving out of Michigan, guess they saw the economy starting to crash. Bought different cars, had kids, and it all stopped. Most of the people who I did meet back then all moved on to different vehicles. S2000's, M3's, Z's,G's, Evo's, STi's, 135i's, 335i's, etc...
Of everyone I used to know, I'm the ONLY one that I know of that still has his Si. 99 Si now with 63,6XX miles. Gets about 9mpg city, 20mpg hwy. I hardly ever saw any Si's in Michigan, maybe once a month, MAYBE. There weren't many out there, I came to think that it was just a pretty uncommon car. There's still a guy (forget name) over at the xceedspeed site that brings his turbo Si out on Saturday's at Damon's in Ann Arbor. I'm pretty sure he's getting rid of his car too.
I was thinking there were less than a dozen or so Si's in SE mich. I would have sold mine as well, gotten something like a 370z, or C5 Z06, E46 M3, blah blah... But the economy didn't do me well either. I did purchase a 600RR back in 07 then it was followed quickly but downsizing at the EPA in Ann Arbor. Didn't expect that, or maybe I should have. Desperately trying to make things work in Michigan for the last few years, trying to work more and harder, yet I was making less and less. I finally gave up and left Michigan back in August.
Arriving in Texas, I have never seen SO many Si's in my life. There ARE MORE Si's, than there are Ford Fusions, or Chevy Malibu's. There are more Si's Civics than there are REGULAR EX, or LX Civics. There are probably more Si's than there are Honda Accords. It's pretty awkward for me since I'm used to being the only Si's. Guess it made me feel all fuzzy inside. Now I feel like I'm driving a Malibu in Michigan, that gets 9mpg.
I'm sorry I kind of went on a tangent there. Thanks for reading :p

It is getting bad here but my family is able to manage. My wife, son, and I still live with my parents with my other 5 siblings in a crowded house. My dad says even though the house is cramped at times he wants us to stay together and help each other out. So far all the bills are being paid with just my dad, wife, sister, younger brother, and I working. On the subject of EM1s so far in Lansing there are two other ones that I've seen so far and I know both of them. So yeah it is kinda hard to see them these days.

Last I saw Fly was at the weekly meets at Damon's in Ann Arbor, I still think he attends that every saturday around 6-9pm.
Last I saw he was driving a G35 with some extremely yellow beam HID's.
Sidekick Bucho I heard had left for Florida.
