Iv got an older car for the winter, and i want to throw some tint on her but I dont feel like shelling out the 150$ for a pro job, so im planning on doing it myself. I see there are tons of tutorials out there and was wondering if anyone would recommend one over another...just any help in general would be greatly appreciated
I know there is someone on here who is a window tinter. I dont really know anything about the topic so Ill wait and see if he'll chime in. If not, Ill try and track down some info for ya.

Just pony up the cash to get it done correctly. 99% of DIY tint jobs look like absolute ass & you won't have to live with bubbled up, shitty looking window tint.

Tinted windows aren't something that you really want to do yourself. It's a skill that takes time to learn, and its gaurunteed to look like shit if you're doing it yourself for the first time. Being how its such a big thing, and can make or break a car, I'd say shell out the money the first time to do it right. $150 isnt going to make or break the bank unless you live on welfare.

Good call... If you really don't want to spend cash and want to make your car look better, just spend a good afternoon making little touch ups and detailing your car, you will be much happier with that than a botched tint job
