I spent 5 hours on the BMW yesterday. Cleaned wheels inside and out, used rubber cleaner on tires, cleaned wheelwells, engine bay, washed car with Dawn, then Meguiar's soap, clay, Griot's Machine Polish #3, 3M Hand Glaze, then the Natty's Red paste wax.

Impressions? First impression - I want to eat this stuff. It smells like strawberry bubble gum.

I have been using One Grand Blitz Wax for years, so that's what I am comparing the Natty's Red to. I think the depth of reflection seems a bit better with the Natty's, and it applies easily and evenly, but I thought that it was difficult to buff off. I let it glaze on the paint for about 20 minutes, in my garage, and it's 90 degrees outside. Tried the Kobra microfiber towel, then tried it with some quick detailer, and had to get out the PC again with a buffing pad. Even then, I only got the majority of the wax, and had to spend another 20 minutes with the microfiber scrubbing one spot at a time. It wasn't too bad, but it was a bit frustrating and surprising.

I'll continue to use it, but once its gone, I won't buy it again. I thought that it was too difficult to buff off once it had glazed over. The car has been parked in the garage since I detailed it yesterday, and I still see some spots that I missed. I'll hopefully get them next time I wash the car, when the water softens it up a bit.

Never used Natty's red, but like I said, I HIGHLY recommend P21s or the like

Natty's Red is a wax on wipe off wax. There is no setting time for it. When using do a section at a time and wipe off right after. This will eliminate your issue with it difficult to remove. Also, when applying be sure to use a very thin coat. So thin it is almost difficult to see. This will also help you when removing and you wont need the buffer.

PICS???

The container said to let the wax glaze over. I waxed the entire car, let it sit, then buffed the entire car.

No pics at the moment, but I still haven't driven the car so it's still clean \:\)

+1 on P21S. That stuff goes on like butter and comes off really easy.

Yep, your right you are supposed to let this dry. I did a little more research and found that when you apply if it is too think, it is very difficult to remove. So you need you need to apply VERY thin. So thin it is hard to see. Then you should have no issues in removing.

I probably applied it too thick... I always have a tendency to do that.

I just got my car back with new suspension, brakes, new filter on the Dinan CAI, and some other minor stuff. I'll take pics the next time I wash it.

Yea dude, you did something different, I've used it all summer, on my 2nd container and have had ZERO issues w/removing it. All by hand btw.

Do a spot check on your trunk or something and only apply a thin layer. See what happens. I do the entire car, then go back and wipe it off in order of application.
