Just wanted to say that I'm stoked... I got my M3 side mirrors on the car this morning, and they're a huge improvement over the square "elephant ears" that came with the car. My OEM MTech II bodykit (front, rear, skirts, fogs) comes in tomorrow, and I'll take it right over to my body shop for paint and install!
After that I have just a few more minor things on the exterior before I move on to brakes, H&R coilover suspension, wheels and tires!

E46 M3 mirrors, not E36... although a company called Hagus makes E36 M3-style mirrors for E46 sedans. I don't really like 'em, though.
I'll take pics once the body kit (sorry, "aero package") is on the car. I've also got blackout kidney grilles, tint, and a full set of OEM euro lights with mirror bulbs (Solaris Invisibulbs).
I'm also going to get a set of P46 projectors, 6000k with 6000k angel eyes (again, the only car where angel eyes are acceptable!)

Yeah I know haha, I dont like them either, hence why im looking into the AC ones.
I also did the black kidney grilles, tint, and the full set of OEM Euro clears (tails sidemarkers and corners), and I went with the ZKW headlights with 4500k HID's (soon to have a TSX retrofit).
Only thing left for the exterior is the lip, mirrors, and figure out if i want to go wingless or just add a roof spoiler. I've got other bigger things to worry about right now though
Why did you choose the H&R coilovers out of curiositiy?

Dude, ACS is fucking BUCKS. $700 plus paint, which will run you about $180 for both mirrors at a good place. Make sure you've got the proper connectors... BMW uses 6 pin, 12 pin, and now ribbon connectors and the only way to know for sure what you've got is to strip the door and look at the connector.
I chose the H&R's because they're affordable (about $700), non-adjustable, simple, and have a good track record. I'm getting the Touring kit, not the Race kit. It should drop me about 1.5 inches up front and 2 inches in the back beyond my factory Sport suspension. The Bilstein PSS kits are much more money and adjustable, which I really don't need.
Most people get the Race kit, which looks really nice, but I fucking hate scraping and I just know the splitters on my MTech II front end will get fucked up eventually no matter how careful I am.
I'm going to run OEM 17 inch Type 44 wheels... simple, easy to clean, low key. I already bought one wheel, new in box, from a guy on E46 Fanatics for $200 shipped. I'm in no rush, and lurk on the classifieds forum. They're common enough that I can be patient and snag new wheels or like-new wheels to save a few hundred bucks over buying them from a dealer. The problem is that most used wheels have curb rash since people can't drive, so I have to wait and buy them one by one instead of a full used set (which would be even cheaper... $500 or so for a set usually, with tires in fair shape).

323i in bright red with the Dinan Signature package. I've posted pics in Out There before... search for "Dinan BMW".
I'll post new pics once the kit is on the car. Since the pics I've posted here I have darker tint, Euro lights, paint-matched trunk handle, removed the Dinan badge, the M3 mirrors, and I have a Dinan pedal set coming on Friday.

W00t... the body shop put the bumper in the sun yesterday, and in the paint booth this morning. The heat returned the material to its original form, and it's all getting prepped/sprayed today! They're closed Monday for the holiday, so I get the kit installed next Tuesday or Wednesday
I'm having them leave the bumper moldings black like the car is stock, because I kind of like the black trim around the car. I'm having them paint the foglight bezels, and leave the rear diffusor black. Later, I may add carbon fiber front splitters and rear diffusor, but most likely not.
I also looked at getting a carbon fiber CSL trunk (which I would paint!), but decided that the "duckbill" shape looks weird on the sedans (and looks sick on E46 coupes).

Thanks, buddy. Actually, I only need 2 more wheels. I have already gone back and forth with him via email... he doesn't want to split up the set. He said that if he couldn't sell them by the time his new wheels came in, he would email me back and let me take a couple.
I'm not ready to get the last two wheels and 4 new tires just yet... I'm coming up on 60k miles, which on an E46 is Inspection II. I also bought a new brake kit from Turner Motorsport (OEM rotors, low-dust Axxis pads, stainless lines), I got an H&R Cup Kit suspension, Hella air horns, and a full set of PowerFlex urethane bushings and Rogue aluminum rear shock mounts. So, after I pay for the service and install of all that stuff, it'll be awhile before I can do the wheels and tires. After that, I have just a couple more original trim pieces I want to replace (sun faded black pieces), repaint the roof, and I'm done!
