Try STLSR.com. There are lots of locals there, and on Honda-tech, they are planning a big St. Louis spring meet.

I'll be moving to STL in Oct this year. Got a question for ya'll about the emissions testing there. I have a '96 HB w/ a '99 Integra LS engine N/A, OBD II engine to OBD II chasis and all the sensors are hooked up. How strict is the emissions over there?

STLSR
I got banned off of STLSR because a guy on there was accusing me of being a theif. I used to work as a salesman for CompUSA and I was asking questions on if this was considered stealing. ex: you buy a movie that's sealed, take the movie out, reseal it, then return it for a full refund. And the New Moderator who was also new to the forums, thought I was referring to myself and was saying how he hated people who stole and thought it was me who was doing. None the less...had nothing to do with harrassment to anyone on the board. I figured why should I be a member to a board when they have a-holes like that on there.
About the emissions:
They're not too bad. I owned a '90 Integra LS that didn't put out enough exhaust and I had a hard time with it. They had to jump on the gas throughout the entire thing. Had 212,xxx miles on it. Then I had a '94 DX hatch with 155,xxx miles and it still passed with flying colors. When you move here, just drive your car for 20 minutes, throw a bottle of fuel injection cleaner in to give your motor plenty of o2 and it'll pass with no problems.

I want to see exactly how many EM1's are in the area. I know of only 4 ive seen total. My car, another turbo si, a MR Si with carbon fiber trunk and hood, and a girl with an EBP Si. I have seen another MR Si on 70 with an AEM Decals. Lets meet

i got my car tuned at adrenaline, and they are a great place and all, but they took 3 weeks, and only pushed out 200whp@7psi. The vtec was set at 3800rpms which is insanely terrible for gas mileage. It was hondata tuned, and it was blamed on due to the small downpipe, which i agree with, but 3 weeks. So i messed around some more, and pulled out 280whp. Look around and see if certain tuners are traveling around. My friend got tuned by superdave, and his wait was well worth it.

I left it there on a friday since i was going to be out of town, and i was about a week, and then everytime i called, there was another excuse, and this and that. But since, i have kept the same turbo, but as mentioned above, the downpipe was like 1.80 inches custom, dumbass shit a friend did a while ago which caused an assload of backpressure. Since, i made my own. 2 90 degree piping, and a straight plus a welder and heat wrap.

Your sentences are hard to follow. A downpipe with heat wrap putting out 80whp seems to be a little hard to believe.

They tuned mine to wear it kicks in at 3500rpms. Talk about shitty gas mileage. But I did notice a huge difference from before and after they tuned it and I was very pleased. I'm sure yours redlines higher though. With my K series, it peaks at 6800. FTL

it might have been unclear. It was dynoed at 103.4 degrees or something and since then, my downpipe went to 2.5-2.6 inches which made a gigantic difference, and i have a test pipe now, and we removed the ac condensor. The clutch was slipping alittle also and was replaced with a stage 3 proclutch. There you have it.

Don't get your car tuned at Adrenaline. It is a nice shop, but I would be leary of their tunen ability. I wouldn't make such a statement with out some examples.
1st example......
A freind just got a base map put on his built LS/Vtec teg. It was a base so he wasn't expecting alot of power, but why would the VTEC turn on at 2200 rpms? I never heard of breaking in a motor like that? And when the car was brought in to be tuned, the profec B worked but now it doesn't work? and he needs a manual boost controller?
2nd example.....
Another freind just purchased a turbo H22 accord coupe w/ AEM EMS tuned by Adrenaline. The guy he bought it from didn't know much, but you would think a reputable tuner would tell him that with the EMS he wouldn't need a missing link and a FMU, nope they tuned the EMS with said items installed.
They are a nice shop with a freindly staff, I just wouldn't let them tune my car. HP pulls on the Dyno, sure.... Just no tuning. Seems the drift bug may have bitten them to hard.

I'm from the St. Charles area, but I visit Hazelwood quite often for friends and sometimes meet up at Elm street and 370 on sat nights. But recently I've been going to SoCo.
The hatch is down right now for changes. But it will be back on the road shortly. Got a pic of your car, maybe I have seen you...
and as fo Adrenaline...Great guys and nice to me, they did a great job on my swap. Tuning, not so sure about that. I keep hearing everyone say that the tuner there sets the Vtec to come in at 3,800 rpms. Not what i would do for tuning. I don't care about big numbers, I'd rather have a better running and reliable motor than have numbers.

soooo.....my car is sitting at Adrenaline right now and will prolly be there for awhile, did a compression test and the #'s were horrible.1st cylinder had no comp. at all,2nd cylinder had 100,3rd cylinder was at 80,and the the 4th had 100.Im going ahead and ordering some eagle rods and a nice set of pistons.im also going to have them install the Apexi' power fc and dyno tune it.Im shooting for around 350hp,just have to wait and see.
350hp? hopefully for the end result. The pistons and rods really won't add any power, but the power fc might. The power Fc is pretty expensive though, believe me I know. You'll pay $1,000+ possibly for the ECU and for the Commander. Maybe go for K series Pro?

Touche, for some reason I was thinking N/A. I was incorrect SiR. Good luck with the boosting and keep us posted as usual with results and installs!
